Ramsey has many influences on her clay works. Ramsey worked for eight years as a graphic designer
from Atlanta to New Mexico and on to North Carolina, where Ramsey fell in love with the clay medium. Unlike many artists,
Ramsey has a list of many talents which range from pottery, beadwork, stipple drawings to designing and sewing belly dance
costumes.

Also unlike many artists, Ray does not limit her art to a single medium or surface. Her work incorporates
all mediums and varied surfaces. Her primary focuses are pottery and oil paintings. However, her artistic forays also include
watercolors, pen and ink, pastels, chalk, furniture, and yes… there are even a few pieces of furniture with her designs
on them!
